Third Day OpenLab Performance 2017
Tuesday, May 16, 2017
The day started with some experiments on filming runned by the audio-visual group. The group has tasted the image quality, the location, the lighting of the subject and the projection. It was very important to pay attention to proportions.
Riccardo C. using the graphics tablet and Photoshop has initially set the shortcut keys to facilitate the work and then has realized and textured Tetris blocks that will serve to create the video scenography.
David, however, has tried the lighting console with the help of Maurizio, adjusting the headlights and planning some preset scenes. In previous days, the lights were set at the four corners at the top of the scene, pointed towards the stage area and the beam has been isolated with the help of some cardboards.
The concept design team has been working behind the scenes creating the choreography for the shadow (virtual performer) and the real performer.
The scene has been shot from the audio-video group and Richard F. has reworked the image setting the grayscale and proportioning the silhouette with After Effects. The end result was tested by projecting directly onto the large front screen (rear projection).
After two other projectors in the rig that link at the bottom were set.
Throughout the day the documentation team did photos, videos, written reports and now also interviews with some guys.
