Workshop Performance and Video 360

The 10th edition of Officine Sintetiche proceeds by exploring 360 ° and XR technologies and the notion of embodied narrative through new and unusual interdisciplinary approaches between visual arts, technology and science.

After the award-winning BeAntoherLab  group and the successful installation / performance presented at the Sottodiciotto Film Festival & Campus in December 2021, here is the new Officine Sintetici call for students of the Polytechnic and the University of Turin.

PROJECT WORK / PRODUCTION LABORATORY directed by Vanessa Vozzo

The laboratory is aimed at producing a socio-political installation / performance where technologies for virtual reality, video and 360 ° live streaming, XR and live performance techniques are used (therefore experiences in this field are also welcome. ).

In the laboratory, innovative forms of narrative embodied and cross-media writing are experimented in order to involve spectators in an active and participatory way by offering them new perspectives and points of view.

The production laboratory is the result of a path started with a research setting presented at Ars Electronica  2019 Wonderlandby Vanessa with a group of researchers and students from Linz (AU). A research followed by the installation / performance  Missing out created by Vanessa Vozzo for the Officine Sintetici IX project and presented at the Circolo del Design for Turin City of Cinema in 2020.
