Seventh day OpenLabPerformance 2018

The shooting of the performances continues, and today the first group to work was the one that stages the conflict with nature. This performance required the use of the software Isadora so that the real-time interaction could be possible, and for this reason Vanessa Vozzo came back to help us. The rehearsals took place today before the final shooting, as all the necessary stuff were put together during these days. In fact, preoviously the group created  videos of the natural setting, also using the overhead projector, and in post-production the techniques of stop-motion and time-lapse; the music was composed adding natural sounds to the melody. For the performance were used two projectors that projected the same pictures on the screen and on the white carpet, but in different ways. The action is given by the two performers who perform on the carpet in front of a detector (the kinect) which recognises their position and plays the video; being the main theme of the performance the conflict with nature, whenever they step in the natural environment (the four elements) it gets contaminated. After hours of rehearsals and shootings the group got interviewed.
